Defender Tran Dinh Dong officially returns to wear SLNA shirt
(Baonghean.vn) - After 3 seasons playing for FLC Thanh Hoa, Tran Dinh Dong has officially returned to wear the Vinh home team's shirt in the 2019 season.
Sharing with Nghe An Newspaper, the player from Anh Son revealed that the contract between him and SLNA was completed after a period of negotiation.
It is known that Tran Dinh Dong will play for the Nghe An team in the 2019 season with a 1-year contract, with an undisclosed salary.
The player born in 1987 is a familiar face to experts and Vietnamese football fans. Tran Dinh Dong grew up from the SLNA training center and was a mainstay of the Vinh team during the period 2009 - 2015. Tran Dinh Dong's most impressive achievements in SLNA's shirt were the 2010 National Cup championship and the 2011 V.League championship.

At the end of the 2015 season, the 32-year-old defender moved to FLC Thanh Hoa. At the Thanh team, the player from Anh Son was always the first choice for the right-back position of coaches Petrovic, Hoang Thanh Tung, Mihail, and Nguyen Duc Thang. FLC Thanh Hoa's two consecutive V.League runner-up positions (2017 and 2018) were largely due to defender Tran Dinh Dong.
