Nghe An Provincial People's Council, term XVIII, 2021 - 2026, held a special session

Previously, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council received Document No. 2848/UBND-TH dated April 14, 2023 of the Provincial People's Committee on the proposal to organize a thematic session of the Provincial People's Council. After consideration, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council issued Official Dispatch No. 112/HĐND.TT dated April 21, 2023 on organizing the thematic session; issued a Notice convening the session.

At this session, after listening to the representative of the Provincial People's Committee's leadership briefly reporting on the submissions and draft Resolutions submitted to the session; the representative of the Provincial People's Council's Economic - Budget Committee briefly reporting on the results of the examination of the submissions and draft Resolutions submitted to the session; the Provincial People's Council will discuss, consider and approve the following drafts: Resolution on approving the Nghe An Provincial Planning for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050; Resolution on the policy of converting forest use to other purposes to implement works and projects in Nghe An province; Resolution on handling the remaining unallocated and undisbursed capital from the provincial budget allocated in 2022.

The meeting also considered and approved the following drafts: Resolution approving the Project proposing to recognize Do Luong urban area, Do Luong district, Nghe An province as meeting the criteria for a type IV urban area; Resolution adjusting the list of projects and capital plan to implement the National Target Program on socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas issued together with Resolution No. 45/NQ-HDND dated October 12, 2022 and No. 62/NQ-HDND dated December 9, 2022 of the Provincial People's Council and Resolutions on investment policies; adjusting investment policies of projects.
