Opening the meeting with voters, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's CouncilNguyen Nam Dinhreported to voters the expected content and program of the 4th Session of the 18th Provincial People's Council, term 2021 - 2026, scheduled to be held in early December 2021.

At this session, the Provincial People's Council will review and discuss 30 reports and is expected to review and approve 36 resolutions. Of particular interest are the resolutions on the socio-economic development plan for 2022; on a number of policies to support the development of agriculture, rural areas, industry and handicrafts in the province; and the resolution on establishing a specialized monitoring delegation of theProvincial People's Councilon training, human resource development and othersuspended project, projects behind schedule and projects using land for the wrong purpose in the province...

The Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council also reported to voters on the socio-economic situation in the province in 2021 with many achieved results and the difficulties and challenges, especially the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic; a number of key tasks and solutions in 2022.

Reporting on the results of resolving opinions and recommendations of voters in Cat Ngan area reflected before and after the 2nd Session of the 18th Provincial People's Council, Mr. Nguyen Nam Dinh said that regarding the project to build model resettlement areas for fishing households on Lam River and in particularly difficult areas in Thanh Chuong district, up to this point, Trieu Duong point, Thanh Lam commune, including 45 households, has been completed and put into use on October 28, 2015. As for Khe Mu point, Thanh Thuy commune, including 120 households, the project is currently being restarted, striving to complete the remaining items by the end of 2021 and bring households in.

Regarding the proposal to upgrade and repair the Giang River suspension bridge, the Department of Road Management II is currently implementing the project with a total investment of 3.5 billion VND, expected to be completed and put into use in the fourth quarter of 2021. Regarding the Cho Chua route connecting Phong Thinh and Thanh Lien communes, it has been upgraded to ensure meeting travel needs on the route.

Regarding the proposal to arrange veterinary positions, the Provincial People's Committee is currently directing the Department of Home Affairs to draft an amendment to Resolution No. 22/2019/NQ-HDND to submit to the Provincial People's Council for approval at the end of 2021 session, including veterinary positions...

Voter Tran Duy Tuan (Hanh Lam commune) expressed his concern that the prices of many consumer goods, especially agricultural materials, are currently increasing, while the prices of agricultural products are not only not increasing but also decreasing. Therefore, he recommended that the State at all levels pay attention to this issue, contributing to improving the income of people in rural areas.

Voter Tran Dinh Truyen (Thanh Nho commune) proposed that the province pay attention to granting land use right certificates to people after land conversion; at the same time pay attention to investing in upgrading the road from Chua market in Phong Thinh commune to Thanh Duc commune - connecting to Ho Chi Minh road.

Voter Pham Xuan Luc (Thanh My commune) requested the province to urge the contractor to speed up the progress and ensure convenient travel for people during the construction of the road connecting National Highway 46C, from Thanh Lien commune intersection to Ho Chi Minh road.

At the meeting, Mr. Le Ngoc Hoa - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee received and clarified a number of issues reflected and recommended by voters.

Regarding the issue of output for agricultural products, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee said that this is a long-standing issue that the province has been struggling with to focus on attracting investment in industrial parks and industrial clusters to attract businesses, including agricultural processing enterprises; at the same time, attract businesses to invest in agriculture.

As for the district and communes, the orientation of what to plant and raise must be linked to the orientation of how to consume to ensure sustainable production; at the same time, it is necessary to plan areas for concentrated and effective development of plants and animals.

Affirming the province's concerns in attracting investment resources to build infrastructure projects, Mr. Le Ngoc Hoa also acknowledged the voters' recommendations to gradually resolve them. Regarding the responsibility of the grassroots, it is necessary to survey and study the urgency and essentiality to people's lives of each project that needs investment to submit recommendations to the Provincial People's Committee for study.

Sharing the difficulties and hardships of the grassroots staff, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also hopes that the grassroots staff will share the general policy on streamlining the payroll as well as the regime that has not met the expectations in the difficult budget conditions of the province.
