Article 233 of the 2024 Land Law stipulates the monitoring and evaluation system for land management and use as follows:
1. The monitoring and evaluation system for land management and use is part of the National Land Information System and other information collected from the process of land law enforcement nationwide, including:

a) Information on land use planning and plans; land statistics and inventories; land prices and land use taxes; land allocation, land lease, land recovery, permission to change land use purposes, issuance of land use right certificates, certificates of house ownership and land use rights, house ownership certificates, certificates of construction work ownership, certificates of land use rights, house ownership and other assets attached to land, certificates of land use rights, ownership of assets attached to land; implementation of investment projects using land; compliance with land laws; inspection, examination and handling of land-related violations by state administrative agencies;
b) Information on dispute resolution, complaints and denunciations regarding land;
c) Information from the process of monitoring the implementation of land laws by citizens; the National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels; the Vietnam Fatherland Front and its member organizations; and other relevant organizations;
d) Necessary information must be collected by technological solutions including ground photography from satellites, aircraft and other flying vehicles; collected by field surveys and other technical means;
d) Necessary information from sociological survey data on land management and use.
2. The competent land management agency is responsible for updating information in the Monitoring and Evaluation System on land management and use into the National Land Information System; managing the monitoring and evaluation system; assisting the Government and People's Committees at all levels in organizing the monitoring and evaluation of land management and use.
3. The monitoring and evaluation system for land management and use is made public for organizations and individuals to find information in accordance with the provisions of law.
