Also attending the event were Politburo member and Secretary of the Havana City Party Committee Mecerdes Lopses Acea, Cuban Ambassador to Vietnam Lianys Torres Rivera, and a large number of Cuban people and students. |

On the same day, General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong and the high-ranking Vietnamese delegation visited Vo Thi Thang Primary School in the capital city of Havana. Students studying in 16 classes of the Primary School named after Vietnamese heroine Vo Thi Thang waved the flags of Vietnam and Cuba and chanted “Cuba y Vietnam Unidos Siempre Estan: Cuba-Vietnam forever together”. |
