The public order police and traffic police had to temporarily block Doc Thiet street for fire fighting forces.
Because Ms. Lan’s house is located deep in a narrow alley and the second floor has many flammable materials, controlling the fire was difficult. The fire police force had to use hammers and sickles to remove the corrugated iron roof to bring the water hose to the fire from above.
It is known that at the time of the incident, Mrs. Lan heard her nephew shouting that there was a fire in the electrical wires in the house, so she quickly took her three grandchildren outside to escape.
