Activities to support the poor in localities
(Baonghean.vn) - Activities to support poor women's families and students are carried out by all levels and sectors in Tan Ky, Nghia Dan and Ky Son.

On the morning of October 14, Dong Van commune (Tan Ky) organized a sponsorship reception and started building a house of gratitude for the family of Ms. Luong Thi Tinh in Thung Mon hamlet, Dong Van commune, a poor household with difficult circumstances.
Ms. Tinh is in a particularly difficult situation. Her husband and three children have passed away from serious illnesses. She herself is disabled and in poor health. The house where she and her children live is dilapidated and leaky, but there are no conditions to repair it.
At the ceremony to receive the sponsorship money and start building the house of gratitude, Ms. Tinh's family received 45 million VND from the benefactor; in addition, neighbors supported working days, materials, etc. The house was built with an area of 50m2.2, initial estimate is over 100 million VND.
* Nghia Dung Commune Red Cross Society(Tan Ky) gave 6.5 million VND to Ms. Vi Thi Phuong, in Dong Tho hamlet, who is seriously ill and has extremely difficult family circumstances.

Ms. Vi Thi Phuong is a single mother, raising a small child, her already difficult life has become even more difficult. She recently had a tumor in her right leg, had surgery but it became infected and had to be transferred to K Hospital in Hanoi.
Faced with Ms. Phuong's difficult situation, the Red Cross Society of Nghia Dung commune called on kind-hearted people to share and help her.

After 1 day of active implementation, with the support of the people, the youth union members of Muong Xen town washed over 160 motorbikes, collecting 3,200,000 VND. The money will be given directly to poor students in the district.
The Youth Union of Muong Xen town also organized a campaign to mobilize people, party members, and small traders in the town to donate old goods, necessities, household items, and shoes to give to poor students in remote, isolated, and extremely disadvantaged areas in the district.
Lu Phu
* Farmers' Association of Nghia Trung Commune (Nghia Dan)Coordinated with volunteer groups in the Northwest region of Nghe An to organize gift giving for poor farmers in difficulty in the area.

The delegation presented 6 gifts to 6 poor farmer members in Nghia Trung commune, each gift worth more than 300 thousand VND including necessities, contributing to encouraging members to overcome difficult circumstances. This is one of the practical activities to celebrate the 88th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Farmers' Association (October 14, 1930 - October 14, 2018).

After the first day of operation, the volunteers collected 2.2 million VND. The work of the volunteers has been approved and supported by many local people.
