Tet gift giving activities, supporting the poor in localities
(Baonghean.vn) - On January 15, gift-giving and support activities for students and the poor in localities continued to take place. All aimed at a more prosperous Tet for the poor.

The working delegation presented 4.5 tons of rice worth 50 million VND to 220 poor households of Tam Hop commune.
On behalf of the working delegation, Colonel Ho Van Tu - Deputy Director of the Provincial Police Department kindly visited the health of the households receiving gifts, and at the same time encouraged the Party Committee, government and people to overcome difficulties, strive to eliminate hunger and reduce poverty, and strictly comply with the Party's guidelines and policies and the State's laws.
On this occasion, the delegation also visited the workplace of Tam Hop Commune Police. Here, the Deputy Director of the Provincial Police encouraged the Commune Police force to do a good job of ensuring security and order in the locality.

The delegation visited the family of Ms. Dang Thi Thom, a contract worker at PH 10, whose daughter suffered a brain injury that caused brain atrophy when she was 10 months old. Up to now, her skull is still distorted and she cannot move her right arm and leg. The cost of treatment and skull augmentation for her daughter is very high, and her family's economic conditions are difficult to meet.
The delegation also visited and presented gifts to Senior Lieutenant Bui Van Bac (PC 08) who suffered a traumatic brain injury and is currently unable to recognize anything and requires assistance in all activities. They also visited the family of Lieutenant Colonel Phan Song Hieu (PC 05) who has end-stage kidney failure and is currently undergoing kidney transplant procedures at Hue Central Hospital. Comrade Hieu's wife also has severe kidney disease and is unable to work and must be hospitalized.

The members kindly visited and shared the difficulties and hardships of the families, and encouraged the families to make efforts to treat the disease, overcome difficulties, and soon stabilize their lives. The working group presented each family with a gift worth 2 million VND.

40 households with especially difficult circumstances, policy families, and people with meritorious services to the revolution in Giai Xuan commune received Tet gifts, each worth 500,000 VND, totaling 20 million VND. This amount was donated by leaders, cadres, civil servants, and public employees of the Department.
* At Ky SonThanh Thanh Dat Company gave 100 gifts to the poor people of the district, each gift worth 500,000 VND, total value 50 million VND.
