Tet gift giving activities for the poor in localities
(Baonghean.vn) - On January 20, many units organized activities to give Tet gifts to the poor on the occasion of Spring Canh Ty 2020 in localities across the province.
The working delegations were led by Mr. Nguyen Manh Cuong - Director of the Department of Tourism and Mr. Nguyen Manh Loi - Deputy Director of the Department of Tourism.Together with civil servants, public employees and some tourism businesses, they visited, gave gifts and wished a Happy New Year to poor families in Nam Thuong commune (Nam Dan), communes in Do Luong district and Anh Son district.

It is known that in the coming days, the delegation of the Department of Tourism will continue to give gifts to disadvantaged families being treated at Nghe An Oncology and Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital.

Accordingly, 50 Tet gifts were given to policy families and families with special difficulties in Nghia Dung, Nghia Hop, Ky Tan, Nghia Binh communes, Tan Ky district and 10 gifts in Nghi Quang commune, Nghi Loc district, each gift worth 650 thousand VND with a total amount of over 32 million VND.

VNPT Nghe Anvisited and presented support money to build Great Unity houses for 3 households in Chau Hoi commune with the amount of 140 million VND.

Accordingly, VNPT directly gave 70 million VND to Mr. Lu Van Hoa, Tan 1 village; 40 million VND to Mr. Vi Van Duc, Hoi 2 village and 30 million VND to Mr. Lang Van Tuan, Le village, Chau Hoi commune to build houses of gratitude. These households are in extremely difficult circumstances and cannot afford to repair or upgrade. Chau Hoi commune, Quy Chau is a poor commune that VNPT Nghe An and VNPT Business Center received help from.

Lugroup414 (Military Region 4)cooperated with Cua Dong General Hospital to carry out the program "Green Banh Chung for Patients". There were 18 officers and soldiers of Brigade 414 and more than 30 officers, employees, nurses and doctors of Cua Dong General Hospital wrapped and cooked more than 4,000 Banh Chung to give to inpatients at the hospital during the Lunar New Year 2020.

The Military Command of Nghia Dan district visited and presented gifts to the family of Vietnamese Heroic Mother Tran Thi Trang in Hong Truong hamlet, Nghia Hong commune; Vietnamese Heroic Mother Ngo Thi Tiep in Binh Hai hamlet, Nghia Binh commune; and presented 20 gifts to 20 poor families and families in difficult circumstances in Nghia Thinh commune. Each gift was worth 800,000 VND from the contribution of officers and soldiers of the Military Command of Nghia Dan district.
