Students “swim” on muddy roads to get to school
(Baonghean.vn) - The 1km long road connecting hamlets 12, 4A, 3A and 14 leading to the center of Nghia Mai commune, Nghia Dan district (Nghe An) is considered a "miserable road" because it is dusty on sunny days and muddy and slippery on rainy days.

Not only do people suffer when traveling on this road, but teachers and students also fall into similar situations.
Mr. Nguyen Anh Duc, a teacher at Nghia Mai B Primary School, said: This is the main road of Nghia Mai commune. People all travel on this road to the commune center, especially students and teachers who have to go through this road every day to go to school.
When it's sunny, it's covered in thick dust, when it rains, it's muddy and slippery, making it very difficult to travel. It's only 1km long but it still takes nearly 1 hour to cross.
"I hope the authorities will pay attention, help, and repair this road so that teachers, students, and people can feel secure when traveling here, avoiding unfortunate accidents," Mr. Nguyen Anh Duc suggested.

After each rain, Nghia Mai commune mobilizes people to level and repair the roads to make it easier to travel, but this is only a temporary solution. When it rains, the roads become muddy and slippery, causing many people to fall, especially students.
