Mountain students excited about the contest to promote electricity saving

On April 13, at Muong Noc Secondary School, Que Phong District, Nghe An Electricity Company coordinated with the Department of Industry and Trade to organize a contest to promote energy saving in schools.

The contest had 3 teams: Clean Energy, Green Energy and Solar Energy, representing students from Muong Noc Secondary School (Que Phong). The contestants went through 3 rounds: greeting, multiple choice and talent. At the end of the contest, the Green Energy team won first prize.

With the form of dramatization, multiple choice questions, and vivid visual skits researched, staged, and presented by the students themselves, the contest to propagate the use of energy economically and effectively in schools is a useful playground, an experiential and creative activity to convey to students some basic solutions on the use of energy economically and effectively and the Law on the Use of Energy Economically and Effectively.

From the knowledge and meaningful messages in the program, each student will be an active propagandist to promote to other students in the school, family and community to change their usage habits and avoid wasting energy resources.

At the same time, the contest is also organized to instill in students the passion and creativity in finding new solutions to use energy economically and effectively; as well as exploiting new energy sources, clean energy to contribute to the goal of ensuring national energy security, ensuring safe and stable electricity supply, serving the needs of socio-economic development.

Energy is a valuable resource of every country in the world serving the socio-economic development of the countries. Deeply aware of the role of energy saving, Nghe An Electricity Company has implemented activities to disseminate basic knowledge about electricity saving and electrical safety in schools, contributing to raising awareness and skills on safe and economical use of electricity in schools, families, etc.

Through that, we aim to help students - the future owners of the country - become propagandists to spread useful messages about saving electricity and energy to their families and society.

Accordingly, Nghe An Electricity Company has coordinated to organize the implementation of the "Energy saving propaganda contest in schools" in 2023 in localities in the province: Vinh City, districts: Dien Chau, Nam Dan, Que Phong and Nghia Dan.
