The Provincial Veterans Association visited and supported families of sailors in distress at sea in Quynh Luu.
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of January 20, a delegation of the Provincial Veterans Association led by Major General Nguyen Dinh Minh - Member of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Veterans Association, Chairman of the Nghe An Provincial Veterans Association visited and supported the family of 3 sailors in distress at sea in Son Hai commune, Quynh Luu district.

The delegation of the Provincial Veterans Association visited and expressed condolences to the families of 3 crew members: Thai Ba Tinh (born in 1952); Tran Van Nghia (born in 1964); Tran Van Hoi (born in 1959) in Son Hai commune who had an accident at sea on November 30, 2021. All 3 crew members are members of the Son Hai Commune Veterans Association.
At the families, Major General Nguyen Dinh Minh - Chairman of the Provincial Veterans Association encouraged the relatives of the sailors to overcome their grief and strive to improve their lives; and supported each distressed sailor with 1 million VND. On this occasion, the Quynh Luu District Veterans Association also supported each sailor with 500,000 VND.
Nghe An fishing boat sank at sea, 5 crew members missing

On the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2022, the delegation of the Provincial Association of War Veterans presented 6 gifts to key cadres in the religious areas of Quynh Ngoc, Quynh Lam, and Quynh Giang communes (each gift worth 500,000 VND).
At the same time, the delegation also presented 35 gifts from the Central Committee of the Vietnam Veterans Association and the Provincial Veterans Association to veteran members in the district affected by the Covid-19 epidemic, with a total amount of 19.5 million VND.
