Nghe An Red Cross Society gives gifts to families in areas locked down due to Covid-19 epidemic
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of June 28, the Nghe An Provincial Red Cross Society organized the presentation of 180 gifts to families affected by the Covid-19 epidemic in 7 wards and communes in Vinh City, from a support source of 200 million VND from the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society.

In Block 4, Quan Bau Ward and Vinh Tan, Ben Thuy, Doi Cung, Hong Son Wards, Hung Hoa Commune, Hung Loc, the Provincial Red Cross Association presented 180 gifts (each gift includes: rice, cooking oil, fish sauce, instant noodles and some other necessities, worth 500,000 VND/gift), with a total value of 90 million VND. These are essential necessities to encourage and share with households facing difficulties due to lockdown in the Covid-19 epidemic area, hoping to give more motivation for people to stabilize their lives and overcome the pandemic.

The remaining amount was transferred by the Nghe An Provincial Red Cross to the Red Cross Societies of districts with Covid-19 cases, specifically: Dien Chau district 30 million VND, Nghia Dan, Quy Hop, Tan Ky, Do Luong, Nam Dan, Quynh Luu, Nghi Loc districts, Hoang Mai town each unit 10 million VND to buy necessities to support and encourage families in difficult circumstances due to the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic.
