Nghe Tinh Business Association: Support 400 million VND for students in flood-affected areas

(Baonghean.vn) - With the tradition of 'Helping each other', the Nghe Tinh Business Association in Ho Chi Minh City has launched a charity fundraising campaign to support and help people in Nghe An and Ha Tinh who suffered damage due to storms and floods with an amount of 400 million VND.

In Nghe An, Mr. Nguyen Canh Nam - Chairman of Nghe Tinh Business Association in Ho Chi Minh City worked with the Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province and was introduced to select some of the most difficult schools to donate over 200 million VND to buy computers and learning tools for students.

The delegation decided to give Nghi Thu Secondary School of Cua Lo town 80 million VND to equip a computer room; Ta Ca Primary School of Ky Son district 40 million VND to buy learning tools and Tho Son Kindergarten of Anh Son district 40 million VND to buy desks, chairs and teaching equipment for students.

In addition, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of Con Cuong High School in Con Cuong district, Mr. Nguyen Canh Nam - Chairman of Nghe Tinh Business Association in Ho Chi Minh City, Chairman of Lam Hong Company donated a computer room to the school worth about 80 million VND and some business members in the Association also contributed more than 30 million VND to support the purchase of teaching equipment on the occasion of the inauguration of Khai Son Primary School...
