Tighten security control in the area

In July, the sectors in the bloc have performed well their tasks according to the plan and the tasks assigned by the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee. However, there are still some issues that need attention such as activitiesviolaterelated to mineral exploitation and construction still occur. In the coming time, it is forecasted that although the Covid-19 epidemic has been controlled, there is still a potential risk of re-emergence in some localities. Illegal land encroachment and transfer activities can still cause complicated problems regarding security and order.

Representatives of the sectors attending the Conference also stated that in the coming time, there will still be potential risks threatening security and politics in the area. Therefore, agencies and units need to tighten coordination and control security well in the area and in their areas of responsibility.

A representative of the provincial police said that currently, cyber attacks and threats to cyber security are on the rise, especially attacks in cyberspace. Activities that incite and defame the Party and the government occur frequently, especially on issues related to epidemic prevention.

Therefore, the functional forces need to continue to coordinate well with the Party committees, authorities and localities to continue to resolutely implement epidemic prevention measures. Detect and handle many major cases and incidents

The report at the conference showed that in July 2021, the political security situation and social order and safety continued to be maintained. The armed forces continued to ensure combat readiness, strengthening the work of preventing and fighting the Covid-19 epidemic. Crime prevention work was promoted, and many major violations were detected and arrested by the sectors.

There were 50 cases of crimes against social order, resulting in 1 death, 7 injuries, and property damage of about 550 million VND. Notably, Vinh City Police arrested 4 groups of 50 loan sharks, confiscating 5 billion VND and many other exhibits, initially proving that the loan amount was about 500 billion VND.

Drug criminals discovered and arrested 90 cases, 141 subjects, seized 1.5 kg of heroin, 19.4 kg of crystal meth, more than 51,689 synthetic drug pills. Crimes violating the law on economic and environmental management arrested 655 cases, 743 subjects, seized a large quantity of smuggled goods of unknown origin worth 3.7 billion VND. Notably, the case of the Provincial Police Department of Criminal Investigation caught 23 subjects red-handed using vehicles,quarryillegal white in Ken hamlet, Chau Loc commune, Quy Hop district.

The conference chairman also assigned each agency, department and branch to perform their tasks. For the Provincial Military Command, in addition to maintaining combat readiness, it is necessary to prepare forces to meet the requirements of participating in flood and storm prevention, search and rescue, fire and explosion prevention and to do a good job of defense area drills.

For the Provincial People's Procuracy, continue to exercise the right to prosecute to ensure the right person, the right crime, and the right law; not to allow injustice or criminals to escape in resolving criminal cases. The Provincial People's Court needs to focus on promoting the resolution and trial of civil and administrative cases and complicated cases that are of public interest, and cases that are about to exceed the statutory deadline.

Sectors in the bloc continue to implement well Regulation 11-QDi/TW on the responsibility of Party leaders in receiving citizens, having direct dialogue with citizens and handling citizens' feedback and recommendations.
