More than 1,000 9th grade students in Nghe An entered the Provincial Excellent Student Selection Exam for the 2022-2023 school year
(Baonghean.vn) - This is an important exam to evaluate the quality of key education of schools with the participation of the best students in the whole province.
This morning (February 11), 1,000 9th grade students entered the Selection Exam.excellent studentprovince school year 2022 - 2023.
This year’s exam has the participation of 1,285 candidates from secondary schools in 21 districts, cities and towns across the province and is held at Le Viet Thuat High School. This year, candidates will take the following subjects: Chemistry, History, English, Literature, Mathematics, Civic Education, Information Technology, Physics, Geography, Biology and French.
In particular, for the subjects of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Literature, History, Geography, and Civic Education, candidates will take the exam in essay format. For the subject of Information Technology, candidates will take the exam directly on the computer using the programming language Pascal or C++ (on DevC++, Code Block), Python to solve the problems. For the subjects of Foreign Languages: Written exam, including essay and multiple choice questions, testing 3 skills of listening, reading, writing and language knowledge.

Before this year's exam, the Department of Education and Training also issued a document promulgating the structure of the provincial-level excellent student exam for grade 9 in the 2022-2023 school year. Accordingly, the exam content will be within the scope of the General Education program for junior high school issued by the Ministry of Education and Training as of February 11, 2023 (end of week 2 of semester 2), focusing mainly on the grade 9 program.
For the 9th grade program without exams, the content is instructed: Do not teach, Read more, Do not do, Do not do, Do not require, Encourage students to read by themselves, Encourage students to learn, Encourage students to do, Encourage students to do by themselves according to Official Dispatch No. 3280/BGDĐT-GDTrH dated August 27, 2020.

The 8th, 7th, and 6th grade programs will also not test guided content such as: self-reading, self-studying, self-doing, self-implementing, no requirements... The test must require all 4 levels of cognition: Recognition; understanding; application and high application.
According to the plan, the time for each exam is 150 minutes and candidates will take the first exams of Chemistry, History, and English on the afternoon of February 11. The remaining exams will be on February 12.
This year, the candidates will continue to be divided into two groups, of which Group A will be for Vinh city and the plains and lowland districts. Group B is for students in the highland districts of Con Cuong, Tuong Duong, Que Phong, Ky Son and Quy Chau./.
