More than 1,400 applications for the 10th grade entrance exam at Phan Boi Chau Specialized School

According to statistics from Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted, as of May 24, when the deadline for submitting application documents expired, Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted had received 1,403 applications for admission.Grade 102021-2022 school year. The number of applications this year is more than 20 sets higher than last year.

In detail, this year, English is still the specialized class with the largest number of applications with 264 applications, followed by Literature with 204 applications and Math with 179 applications.

For the remaining specialized classes, the Chemistry specialized class has 151 applications, the Physics specialized class has 150 applications, the Biology specialized class has 122 applications, and the Informatics specialized class has 83 applications (including 36 applications for the Math exam and 47 applications for the Informatics exam).

The number of applications is lower in classes such as Geography (64 applications), History (54 applications), Russian (103 applications) and French (28 applications).

Previously, according to the plan approved this year,Phan Boi Chau High School for the Giftedmaximum enrollment of 490 students. Of which, there are 385 students for 11 specialized classes and 70 students for 2 specialized classes of Natural Sciences and Foreign Languages ​​(35 students per class). In addition, 1 class of students in the English specialized class will be directly recruited to implement the Foreign Language Project of the Education sector.

Each candidate registers for 01 specialized subject, the candidate registers for which specialized class to take the exam for that specialized subject. Candidates registering for the specialized class of Information Technology will take the exam for the specialized subject of Information Technology or Mathematics; candidates registering for the specialized class of Russian will take the exam for the specialized subject of English; candidates registering for specialized classes in the field of Natural Sciences (Math, Physics, Chemistry, Biology) and specialized classes in the field of Foreign Languages ​​(English - Japanese) register according to their second choice.

Specifically:

+ Candidates who register to take the specialized subject of Literature can register for admission to the History or Geography specialized class as their second choice;

+ Candidates who register for the specialized subject of Mathematics can register for admission to the second choice of the specialized class in Information Technology or the specialized class in the field of Natural Sciences;

+ Candidates who register for the specialized subject of Chemistry can register for admission to the second choice of Biology specialized class or specialized class in the field of Natural Sciences;

+ Candidates who register to take the specialized subjects of Physics and Biology can register for admission to the second choice of specialized classes in the field of Natural Sciences;

+ Candidates who register for the English major exam can register for admission to the Russian major class or the Foreign Language major class as their second choice.

The entrance exam to Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted is scheduled to be held on June 6, 2021 at two testing locations: Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted and Huynh Thuc Khang High School.
