More than 170 Hung Dong households handed over land for Vinh urban project

(Baonghean.vn) - To implement the project of building the 72m Vinh - Hung Tay road, hundreds of households in Hung Dong commune proactively demolished their houses and handed over clean land to the construction unit.

Hung Dong commune has 177 households in 4 hamlets Trung Thuan, Trung Tien, Mai Loc, Yen Binh in the area of ​​land acquisition to implement the project of building 72m Vinh - Hung Tay road, Vinh urban development sub-project funded by the World Bank.

Vinh City mobilized machinery and equipment to support people in dismantling their houses.

To keep up with the project’s progress, the city has recently established working groups to propagate and mobilize people to comply with the Party and State’s policies, creating favorable conditions for contractors to carry out construction. With the strong participation of the entire political system, over 170 households have received compensation.

The total length of cleared land is nearly 2km.

From now until December 31, 2016, all households will focus on moving their assets, dismantling their buildings and houses, and handing over the site to the construction unit. The city also established 4 teams in 4 hamlets to mobilize machinery and equipment to support people in simultaneously dismantling their houses, with a total length of cleared site of nearly 2km.
