More than 2,700 people related to Covid-19 patients in Nghe An
(Baonghean.vn) - Up to now, health authorities have traced more than 100 F1 and more than 2,600 F2 related to case 3098 and this number is expected to continue to increase.
On the afternoon of May 9, Mr. Ho Sy Duong - Director of Hoang Mai Town Medical Center said that up to now, the health agency has traced 105 people in the F1 category and more than 2,600 F2 categories of the case."patient 3098".
All F1s and 2,329 F2s have been tested for Covid-19. "The F2s that have not been tested yet are because the tracing has just been completed. Most of the F1s have tested negative, while a few have just returned from the sea and are waiting for the results. These are just the current figures, the number of F2s is increasing every hour," said Mr. Duong, adding that for some F1s at high risk of infection such as the patient's wife and two daughters, samples have been taken twice so far, and both times the results were negative.

Among thousands of F1 and F2 of this patient, up to now, there has not been a single case recorded with abnormal symptoms such as fever, cough, difficulty breathing...
The positive patient is NPQ (47 years old, Quynh Lap commune, Hoang Mai town). According to epidemiological investigation, from April 14 to April 29, he took care of his wife at the Central Hospital for Tropical Diseases, branch 2 (Dong Anh - Hanoi). On April 29, the couple took a bus back to their hometown. In the early morning of May 6, he had a fever of 38.5 degrees; he was quarantined at Quynh Lap Medical Station and had samples taken for testing. The results of the two tests showed that he was positive for Covid-19.
According to epidemiological investigation, this patient's travel history is very complicated. Within 1 week after returning from the hospital, he had contact with many people.
That same night, Nghe An provincial leaders decided to socially distance the entire Hoang Mai town according to Directive 15; let all students stay home from school; lock down 5 villages in Quynh Lap commune and Quynh Lap Central Dermatology and Leprosy Hospital.
