More than 200 warm clothes to people in border areas

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of November 28, the Que Phong District Red Cross Society coordinated with the Nghe An Provincial Red Cross Society and Honda - Vinh Automobile Company to organize the "Warm Winter" gift giving program at Thong Thu Boarding Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities.

Here, representatives of the Provincial Red Cross Society and Honda - Vinh Auto Company presented 162 warm coats to poor students of Thong Thu Boarding Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities.

The Provincial Red Cross Society presented gifts to Mr. Lo Van Thi's family in Hiep An village, Thong Thu commune.

In the 2017-2018 school year, Thong Thu Boarding Secondary School has 9 classes in all 4 grades with a total of 275 students, and the whole school has 27 teachers. In recent years, despite many difficulties, the school has always strived to complete its tasks well, and the quality of teaching and learning has been increasingly improved.

The gifts, although not large, have a lot of practical meaning and are a motivation for the children to go to school.

On this occasion, the delegation also visited, encouraged and presented gifts from the Provincial Red Cross Society to the family of Mr. Quang Van Mo, Muong Phu village and the family of Mr. Lo Van Thi, Hiep An village, Thong Thu commune (particularly disadvantaged households), each gift included: 1 million VND in cash and a warm blanket./.
