More than 3,000 12th grade students in Nghe An participate in the Provincial Excellent Student Selection Exam
(Baonghean.vn) - Today (October 15), more than 3,000 12th grade students across the province participated in the Provincial Excellent Student Selection Exam for 12th grade students for the 2023-2024 school year.
Selection examexcellent studentsThe 12th grade exam is an important exam to recognize and evaluate the quality of teaching at schools and is an opportunity for candidates to assert themselves. The results of the exam are also the basis for 12th grade students to apply to universities.
The provincial exam to select excellent students for grade 12 in the 2023-2024 school year of Nghe An province will be held on October 15 and 16 in Vinh city.

According to the Department of Education and Training, this year's exam had 3,371 students from more than 100 public and non-public high schools, continuing education centers, vocational education and continuing education centers across the province. Candidates participated in 12 subjects: Chemistry, History, English, French, Physics, Geography, Informatics, Biology, Literature, Mathematics, Civic Education and Russian.
Candidates will be divided into 2 groups, in which group A is for schools in urban and delta areas. Group B is for students in mountainous districts, vocational education and continuing education centers and students from non-public schools.
Subjects with a large number of candidates include: English (421 students), Math (344 students), Physics (330 students), Biology (302 students), Chemistry (309 students), Literature (326 students) and concentrated in group A.

This year, all subjects will be tested at Le Viet Thuat High School. The IT exam will be held at Huynh Thuc Khang High School, Le Viet Thuat High School and Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted. The time for each subject is 150 minutes. To prepare for the exam, the Department of Education and Training has mobilized 118 staff and teachers to work as invigilators. The number of exam rooms prepared at the schools is 12.
As planned, at exactly 2:00 p.m. on October 15, candidates will take the first three exams: Chemistry, History, and English.
