More than 3,000 candidates in Nghe An participate in the Provincial Excellent Student Selection Exam for Grade 12
(Baonghean.vn) - This is an important exam for 12th grade students and is one of the bases for them to increase their chances of direct admission to universities.
The provincial exam to select excellent students for grade 12 in the 2022-2023 school year of Nghe An province is scheduled to be held on October 22 and 23 in Vinh city.

In the 2022-2023 school year, the province has more than 3,000 students taking the exam, from more than 100 public and non-public high schools, continuing education centers, and continuing education - vocational education centers across the province. Candidates take 12 subjects: Chemistry, History, English, French, Physics, Geography, Informatics, Biology, Literature, Mathematics, Civic Education and Russian.
This year, all subjects will be tested at Huynh Thuc Khang High School. The IT exam will be held at Huynh Thuc Khang High School, Le Viet Thuat High School and Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted. The time for candidates to take each test is 150 minutes. To prepare for the exam, the Department of Education and Training has mobilized 140 staff and teachers to work as invigilators. The number of exam rooms prepared at the schools is 127.

Selection examexcellent studentThe 12th grade exam is an important exam to recognize and evaluate the quality of teaching at schools and is an opportunity for candidates to assert themselves. The results of the exam are also the basis for 12th grade students to apply to universities.
This year, the exam is held throughout the province. Last school year, due to the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic, Nghe An had to organize the exam to select excellent students by cluster and the number of candidates taking the exam was also much less than in the 2022-2023 school year.
As planned, at exactly 2:00 p.m. on October 22, candidates will take the first four exams: Chemistry, History, English and French.
