More than 300 smuggled Chinese fire extinguishers seized

Immediately after Circular No. 57 of the Ministry of Public Security guiding the equipment of fire prevention and fighting equipment for road motor vehicles took effect, smuggled Chinese fire extinguishers appeared at the Mong Cai border gate area.

On January 9, the Dan Tien Port Joint Control Station (Mong Cai, Quang Ninh) announced that it had just seized hundreds of smuggled fire extinguishers for cars when the shipment was trying to pass the Control Station.

The incident was discovered at 5:00 p.m. on January 8, at a trail next to the Control Station in the area of ​​Hamlet 6, Hai Tien Commune (Mong Cai City). The Cargo Inspection Team of the Joint Control Station Km15-Dan Tien Wharf discovered a number of subjects gathering this shipment.

However, after being discovered, the subjects fled, leaving behind a shipment of 324 500 ml fire extinguishers, the owner of which is unknown. The Control Station decided to temporarily detain the violating goods for processing.
