More than 400 athletes participate in the Nghe An Open Table Tennis Championship for the Vinh Riverside Cup
(Baonghean.vn) - On the evening of May 10, in Vinh city, Nghe An Provincial Table Tennis Federation and the Maternity and Pediatrics Hospital Table Tennis Club held the opening ceremony of the 2024 Nghe An Open Table Tennis Championship for the Vinh Riverside Cup.
Attending the opening ceremony were representatives of the Vietnam Table Tennis Federation; departments, branches and sectors of Nghe An province; Nghe An Table Tennis Federation and sponsors.
The 2024 Nghe An Open Table Tennis Championship for Vinh Riverside Cup is organized with the aim of enhancing the exchange and connection between table tennis players in Nghe An and Ha Tinh provinces and table tennis players across the country; at the same time, creating a healthy playground to promote the movement of physical exercise in general and table tennis in particular.
The 2024 Nghe An Open Table Tennis Championship for the Vinh Riverside Cup takes place over 3 days from May 10 to May 12. The tournament brings together more than 400 athletes from more than 100 table tennis club teams from many provinces and cities across the country. At this year's tournament, athletes will compete in the following categories: Professional Team A, B, C; Team C, D, E of Nghe An - Ha Tinh province; Leadership Pairs.
The organizing committee will hold the closing ceremony and award ceremony on the afternoon of May 12 at Nghe An province's gymnasium./.
