More than 84% of Nghe An candidates registered for university admission

This is the first time,Ministry of Education and Trainingimplement registrationhigh school graduation exam(High School) online.

In Nghe An, as of 5:00 p.m. this afternoon, according to the Department of Education and Training, 36,818 candidates have registered for the exam. Of these, 30,346 candidates registered online and 6,472 registered in person.

Of these, 30,856 candidates registered for admission (84%) and 5,964 candidates registered for graduation exam only (16%). The number of students registering for graduation exam only is much lower than last year, but this is beyond expectation because this year the Ministry of Education and Training changed the form of registration.

Accordingly, instead of registering their university admission wishes when registering for the exam, this year candidates only register their wishes when they have their graduation exam results. Therefore, in order not to lose admission opportunities, most candidates register for university admission.

Also according to the synthesis ofDepartment of Education and TrainingAmong the candidates of Nghe An, there are 1,485 independent candidates who have graduated, 33,860 candidates from the high school education system and 2,956 candidates from the continuing education system.

Regarding subject combination registration, only 10,017 candidates chose the Natural Science subject combination (30.1%). The remaining 25,741 candidates registered for the Social Science subject combination exam (69.9%).

The Department of Education and Training also said that the exam management system has currently locked the "Exam Registration" function according to regulations. For cases where candidates register for the exam late, the units will receive the candidates' registration documents, synthesize data to be ready to access the system, and update the candidates' Exam Registration Forms during the expected time from May 16, 2022 to May 20, 2022.
