Cooperate in sending workers to Japan to work with many preferential policies

Previously, from September 11, 2018, after the signing ceremony of the Cooperation Agreement between Vinh University of Industry and FAJ Company (under Will Group Corporation) Japan, the school had a comprehensive cooperation program with one of the leading Japanese companies in training, job support, labor supply and management.

Giving the reason for choosing FAJ Company as a partner - which is managing more than 2,429 foreign workers, including nearly 1,800 workers from Vietnam, the school leader said:

"We chose the path of the patriot Phan Boi Chau, which is to bring students and young people to study in the advanced country of Japan and after graduation, they will be able to work at FAJ Company. From here, they will also have the opportunity to improve their expertise and work in a professional environment. They will even have the opportunity to settle down permanently if they work well, actively and try hard."

Pursuant to this signed program, Vinh University of Industry has established a Japanese cultural center operated by FAJ staff to train Japanese culture and language, and provide training in skills and experience according to Japanese regulations.

In particular, after only nearly 3 months of cooperation, in early December, FAJ Company representatives directly interviewed candidates who were students majoring in Food Technology to go to Japan for internships. At the same time, FAJ Company also sent Japanese teachers to teach culture and Japanese language to the admitted students. This is also the first "start", so that from April 2019, FAJ Company will continue to recruit workers under the new program, for many different subjects with many special policies to reduce costs for workers.

Opportunity to work in Japan at...cheap price

Starting from April 2019, the Japanese government has approved two working statuses specifically for the Japanese Intern Training Program, including the Specified Skilled Worker visa. The essential purpose of this visa is to be able to stay in Japan for up to 5 years in order to create jobs for those with good Japanese language skills. At the same time, the Japanese government will focus on protecting workers and absolutely prevent illegal stayers with the aim of creating a fair and equal society for foreign workers.

Previously, Japan was accepting foreign workers to work under two programs: Technical Intern Trainee and High-Level Worker (Engineer). However, the Technical Intern Trainee Program only allowed workers to work for 1 year, 3 years and travel for an additional 2 years for certain occupations and conditions. Meanwhile, the number of acceptances for the Engineer program was too small due to the very high recruitment conditions and standards. Because of these limitations, many experts believe that compared to the current trainee work visa, the new visa has more incentives and a longer working period.

This is also a favorable condition for FAJ Company to recruit workers to work in Japan. Talking about this, Mr. Oyama Yutaka - Head of the Japanese Language and Culture Training Center in Vinh City, Ho Chi Minh City of FAJ Company said: Compared to the two previous labor reception programs of Japan, the new program - specific skills has many advantages.

That is a working period of up to 5 years, with a higher salary than Technical Intern Trainees and equivalent to Japanese people of the same level in that profession. In particular, after 5 years, if you pass the required exam, you will be able to participate in the Specified Skills Program No. 2, will be allowed to renew your visa and bring your family to stay long-term in Japan.

Currently, under this program, there are two groups of people who are given priority to work in Japan: workers who have worked in Japan for 3 years; the second group is for new workers (with N4 level of foreign language - basic communication and vocational skills).

As a company specializing in training, employment support, labor supply and management, FAJ Company will be the bridge to directly recruit workers to work in Japan. It is worth noting that with a specific visa, even if the worker meets all the conditions, he/she must go through a brokerage company or find a labor recruitment company himself/herself.

However, with the support of FAJ Company - a unit that is connecting with dozens of factories and plants in Japan, workers will not have to search for factories to work on their own.

On the side of Vinh University of Industry, if students and workers have a need after graduation, they can go directly to the school to apply and be tested by the representative of FAJ Company. Here, if all conditions are met, workers will be trained in Japanese right at the school and other basic skills.

Our goal is to support workers as much as possible. Therefore, we will reduce training costs for workers with a very small cost of only 2 - 4 million VND/month. The remaining costs to go to Japan are almost negligible, mainly airfare and visa fees. The expected starting salary under this program is equal to the basic salary of Japanese people, which is 34 million VND/month.

Currently, under this cooperation program, candidates with the title of Engineer in the fields of Engineering, Humanities, International Relations, and Japanese proficiency equivalent to N3 level or higher will be recruited by FAJ Company to become company staff to work long-term in Japan.

In addition, for candidates who have participated in the technical intern program in Japan in the past, the time of Japanese language and culture training at the School will be recruited by FAJ Company to work long-term in Japan. In case the employee only reaches the N4 level of Japanese, FAJ will go to other companies in Japan to work.
