Con Cuong District: 8 departments and offices received help from 2 villages

Accordingly, 8 departments and offices have stepped up to help and support the two villages mentioned above, including: District Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee, District Youth Union, Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, Mountainous Rural Development Committee, Ethnic Affairs Department, Agricultural Extension Station, Plant Protection Station, and Veterinary Station.

In addition to help 2villageTrung Huong and Trung Chinh build and consolidate the political system, national defense and security, the key task that the departments focus on promoting is to improve the economic life of households through specific contents such as: Support and guidance on science and technology in livestock and crop farming; Consulting on the implementation and enjoyment of agricultural and rural policies to support people to participate in economic development. The units will also coordinate with the Party Committee and the management board of the two villages to organize volunteer activities for community life, building new rural areas as well as preserving the cultural identity of the nation.

At the twinning ceremony, party members from 8 departments and offices used 1 day's salary to buy 3 pairs of breeding pigs to support 3 disadvantaged households in 2 villages to develop their economy.

Trung Chinh and Trung Huong villages belong to Yen Khe commune (the first commune of the district to reach the NTM finish line), however this is the most difficult village of the commune, the poverty rate is still high (Trung Huong over 30%, Trung Chinh over 16%).
