Nam Dan district plans to reorganize and reduce 3 agencies and 7 Party organizations.
In terms of organizational restructuring, Nam Dan district plans to reduce 1 Party committee, 2 specialized departments under the district People's Committee, 1 Party committee and 6 Party cells under the District Party Committee.

On the afternoon of December 16, the Steering Committee summed up the implementation of Resolution No. 18, dated October 25, 2017 of the 12th Party Central Committee "Some issues on continuing to innovate and reorganize the apparatus of the political system to be streamlined and operate effectively and efficiently" in Nam Dan district, holding a meeting to discuss and deploy the plan to reorganize the apparatus in the new period.
In the spirit of "The Central does not wait for the province, the province does not wait for the district, the district does not wait for the grassroots" in the arrangement of the apparatus organization, the Steering Committee summed up the implementation of Resolution No. 18, dated October 25, 2017 of the 12th Party Central Committee "Some issues on continuing to innovate and arrange the apparatus organization of the political system to be streamlined, effective and efficient", Nam Dan district proactively directed the advisory agencies to develop a plan on the orientation of arranging the apparatus organization in the district's political system.

Specifically, reorganize and merge the District Party Committee's Propaganda Department and the District Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department; merge the Department of Natural Resources and Environment and the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development; merge the Department of Home Affairs and the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs.
End the activities of the District Cadre Health Care and Protection Board and transfer its functions and tasks to the District Party Committee's Organization Board, the District Health Department and the District Health Center.

The plan also requires the District Department of Education and Training to take over functions and tasks in the field of vocational education associated with the organization and staff of the field from the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs.
The Health Department receives functions and tasks in the fields of social protection, children, and social evil prevention associated with the organizational structure and staff and civil servants in the field transferred from the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs (including leaders and managers, if any).

Establish two new Party Committees under the District Party Committee: Party Committee of Party agencies, mass organizations, People's Councils, and district-level judiciary (including Party organizations in advisory and support agencies of district-level Party Committees, political centers, People's Councils, Fatherland Fronts, and socio-political organizations, People's Procuracy, People's Court, and District-level Civil Judgment Enforcement Offices) and District-level Government Party Committee (including Party organizations of specialized offices/departments, district-level public service units under the District People's Committee).
After the reorganization, Nam Dan district reduced 1 Party committee, 2 specialized departments under the district People's Committee, 1 Party committee and 6 Party cells under the District Party Committee.

Based on the plan for restructuring the organizational apparatus, the Standing Committee of the Steering Committee for restructuring the organizational apparatus of Nam Dan district requires focusing on implementation with the spirit of "no retreat", only discussing solutions and effective implementation processes.
In which, the arrangement process does not carry out mechanical arrangement but focuses on reviewing to continue to arrange and streamline the apparatus within each department and office, associated with streamlining the payroll, in which attention is paid to reviewing and evaluating the quality of the team of cadres, civil servants and public employees impartially, objectively, publicly and transparently to arrange and assign cadres with qualifications, capacity and qualities, meeting the requirements of tasks in the new period, for the common development of the industry, agency, unit and district.
Along with that, the Standing Committee of the District Steering Committee also requested all levels and sectors to strengthen propaganda work, especially units subject to rearrangement need to do a good job of ideological work, mobilizing cadres, civil servants, and workers to agree and support the policy of rearranging and streamlining the payroll; pay attention to performing professional tasks, especially not affecting the progress of handling work of people and businesses.
