Tuong Duong district gives 20 million VND to support poor households whose houses burned down.
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of May 8, leaders of the People's Committee of Tuong Duong district visited and presented gifts to the family of Mr. Vi Van Vong in Hat village, Yen Tinh commune, whose house burned down.
Previously, at 9:00 p.m. on May 7, Mr. Vi Van Vong (born in 1986) and his wife, residing in Hat village, Yen Tinh commune, Tuong Duong district, went to work, while their two young children were at home cooking and caused a fire in the house.
The fire damaged all of the family’s property, estimated to be worth nearly 70 million VND. It is known that Mr. Vong’s family is a poor household in Yen Tinh commune.
After receiving the news, Mr. Kha Van Ot - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Tuong Duong district, along with representatives of the district's departments and branches promptly visited, encouraged and gave the family 20 million VND in support, the Red Cross gave 1 million VND and people in the village contributed clothes, rice, dishes... with the hope of helping the family quickly overcome the consequences and stabilize their lives.

Mr. Quang Van Dang - Deputy Secretary of Yen Tinh Commune Party Committee said: "The Party Committee and the commune government have also supported the family and will mobilize forces together with the people to contribute working days and materials to build a temporary house so that the family can soon stabilize their lives."
