Opening of the 100th school year at Huynh Thuc Khang High School

Attending the opening ceremony with teachers and nearly 1,900 students of the school were comrade Nguyen Xuan Son - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; representatives of the Department of Education and Training, the Provincial Association for Promoting Education and leaders of Vinh city.

Huynh Thuc Khang High Schoolwith a 100-year tradition, the predecessor is Vinh National School. Promoting the teaching and learning tradition of the school with a long history, in the 2019-2020 school year, teachers and students of Huynh Thuc Khang High School continued to achieve many results, affirming its top position in the quality of education and training in the whole province.

That result is shown through the provincial Science and Technology competitions, high school graduation in 2020,International Physics Olympiad…

Students of Huynh Thuc Khang High School always show themselves to be dynamic and creative in extracurricular, volunteer and humanitarian activities, which are typical of students of Vinh National School.

In the 2019-2020 school year, the school was awarded the title "Excellent Labor Collective" by the Provincial People's Committee; and was awarded a Certificate of Merit "Typical advanced model in the Education sector for the period 2015-2020" by the Ministry of Education and Training.

In particular, on April 23, 2020, the school was awarded the Second Class Independence Medal by the President.

Many teachers are recognized as excellent teachers at the provincial level, have innovative experiences at the industry and provincial levels, and have received many certificates of merit from all levels.

Entering the 2020-2021 school year, the school welcomed 635 grade 10 students, bringing the total number of students in the school to nearly 1,900.

This is a very important school year for teachers and students of Huynh Thuc Khang High School, the year of celebrating 100 years of tradition of Vinh National School. Therefore, although it is predicted that there will be difficulties and challenges, the school is determined to innovate management and educational methods; and strive to further improve the quality of comprehensive education.

Along with that, we need to strengthen moral education, lifestyle, and life skills for students, while building a safe, healthy, and friendly educational environment; and building schools that develop in a progressive and internationally integrated direction.
