Cuong Temple Festival 2016 takes place from the 21st to the 23rd of the second lunar month. Remembering Cuong Temple Festival is remembering the origin, the heroic ancient historical period of the nation along with the myths and legends about "The Holy Manifestation", "Dau Can Mountain", "The Immortal Chessboard", "The Oath of Petrification", "The Forge Master"... Especially remembering the merits of Thuc An Duong Vuong - the one who defeated the Qin and expelled Trieu, bringing independence and freedom to the nation.
In addition, during the festival days, there are also exciting cultural, artistic and sports activities such as: men's and women's volleyball competitions, folk games including rope swinging, cockfighting, lion dance, sack dance, photo exhibitions, cultural services...

This year's festival is organized with two parts: the ceremony and the festival. The ceremony will include the procession of General Cao Lo from the Cao family temple, Dien Tho commune to Xuan Ai communal house, the procession of the King and Princess from Xuan Ai communal house to Cuong temple and the Great Ceremony. The Cuong temple festival is a manifestation of traditional cultural beauty, a symbol of the nation's tradition of patriotism, resistance to foreign invaders and the morality of remembering the source of water when drinking water of our people.
Through the festival, it has actively contributed to preserving and promoting traditional values of the nation, educating patriotism and enjoying the thousand-year-old historical and cultural values for descendants.
