Opening of the Congress of Delegates of the Vietnam Student Association of Vinh University

On the morning of December 28, Vinh University held the opening ceremony of the 12th Congress of Vietnam Student Association, term 2020 - 2023.

Student AssociationVinh UniversityThere are currently more than 11,000 members studying at the school, of which the pedagogical system accounts for 26.9%, the bachelor of science system accounts for 51.2% and the engineering system accounts for 21.9%.

In the 2018-2020 term, the association has operated effectively in all aspects, especially the “5 Good Students” movement. Thereby, 165 students won the “January Star” Award, 105 students won the title“5 good students”school level and 3 students achieved Central level title.

In addition, the association has also promoted movements to orient values, ethics, and lifestyles for students and create an environment for students to study, create, and conduct scientific research. In particular, it has organized many useful and healthy playgrounds and helped students have the opportunity to experience creative activities, volunteer activities for community life, helping students proactively integrate internationally.

In addition, the work of building and consolidating a strong student association continued to develop in both scale and quality. During the term, 154 student topics were able to participate in the school-level scientific research conference, 19 topics were able to participate in the ministerial-level scientific research...

Entering the new term, the Vinh University Student Association aims to build a new generation of students with qualities of patriotism, love for socialism, cultured and idealistic life, voluntary spirit, pioneering in scientific research and mastering technology...

At the same time, build a strong association, adapt to new operating conditions, actively care for and increasingly meet the legitimate needs of members and students; perform well the role of accompanying, gathering and uniting students.

The Congress of the Vietnam Student Association of Vinh University is held for 2 days. Today, the official working session of the congress will listen to the report of the Executive Committee of the 11th Student Association of the school, and listen to the presentations and directives of the Party Committee and the Board of Directors of the school.

The Congress will also announce the results of the consultation to elect the Executive Committee of the Student Union of the XII term, 2020 - 2023, the results of the first Executive Committee meeting, introduce the new Executive Committee and pass the Congress Resolution.
