(Baonghean.vn) - In the historical relic complex in the rice-growing region of Yen Thanh, there is the famous and sacred Ca Temple. This work of special architectural and artistic value was built by the people in the 16th century, in Hoa Thanh commune.

This is the placeWorship natural and human gods such as: Cao Son Cao Cac; Uy Minh Vuong Ly Nhat Quang; Tran Hung Dao; Bach Y Princess; Mai Hoa Princess and other middle-ranking gods who have contributed to the country and the people. |

The Ca Temple is located on a land area of more than one hectare; the three main buildings, the upper hall, the middle hall, and the lower hall, were built with main materials such as: laterite, ironwood, doi wood, and yin-yang clay tiles. |

The temple still retains the solemnity and cultural beliefs typical of Vietnamese temples and pagodas. |

The watchtower has unique architectural art and antiquity. |

The curved roof of the attic is shaped like an axe blade with traditional artistic designs in Vietnamese beliefs. |

In front of the watchtower there is a pair of elephants carved from precious stones. |

With talented hands, artisans have created unique and sophisticated sculptures, expressing a peaceful and virtuous life. |

After 500 years, the system of pillars, rafters and trusses of the temple still retains its delicate carvings. |

The temple is a place to worship angels and gods with over 10 precious wooden statues hundreds of years old. |

Currently, the Ca Temple still preserves 14 thrones, tablets, and ancient royal decrees of the ancestors and famous people of 14 families in Hoa Thanh commune during feudal dynasties. |

In 2012, the Ca Temple was recognized as a historical and architectural relic by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. Every year on the 15th and 16th of January, the local government and people organize the Ca Temple festival on a large scale to show gratitude to their ancestors; to worship the gods, and to pray for a peaceful life and good crops. |
