At around 2am this morning, May 24, while sleeping, Ms. Trinh Thi Tuyet in group 19, lane 90, Khuyen Luong street, Tran Phu ward, Hoang Mai, Hanoi was awakened by the sound of smashing outside the gate. Looking out, there were about 5 to 7 young men outside holding sledgehammers, lubricating oil... smashing the gate and rushing into the house.

This group of people shouted at each other to smash things, threw kerosene into the house and demanded that Ms. Tuyet's family pay the debt. Because she was home alone, Ms. Tuyet could not resist or stop the destruction of the subjects. After smashing things in the house and leaving threats, the subjects quickly left.

It took Ms. Tuyet quite a while to calm down and call Tran Phu Police Station. Immediately after receiving the information, Tran Phu Police Station coordinated with the Criminal Police Team of Hoang Mai District Police to urgently arrive at the scene, record the victim's statement, examine the scene, and investigate the perpetrators.

The subjects threw kerosene in front of the house to "terrorize" the homeowner.

Informing reporters, a representative of Tran Phu Police Station said: The items that were smashed in the house included a motorbike and some other items. The cause of the incident most likely stemmed from a business conflict and debt between Ms. Tuyet’s son and a “partner”. This person is currently not at his residence.
