Inauguration of Khe Yen suspension bridge, Mon Son - Con Cuong

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of May 27, Traffic Construction Corporation 4 - JSC, held a ribbon cutting ceremony to inaugurate the Khe Yen village suspension bridge, Mon Son commune, Con Cuong district (Nghe An).

Cầu treo Khe Yên đã hoàn thành, tạo thuận lợi cho đồng bào các dân tộc trong vùng đi lại, là động lực đểphát triển kinh tế - xã hội cho địa phương.

The suspension bridge connecting the two banks of Khe Yen River, creating convenience for ethnic people in the region to travel, is the driving force for local socio-economic development.

Attending the ceremony were Mr. Do Nga Viet - Chairman of the Vietnam Transport Trade Union; Mr. Tran Van Chinh - Deputy Director of Transport Construction Joint Stock Corporation 4 - JSC; leaders of Con Cuong District Party Committee, Mon Son commune and many ethnic people in the locality.

After more than 3 months of construction, Khe Yen suspension bridge across Khe Yen has been completed and put into use. The bridge has a total investment of 4 billion VND, funded by the Traffic Construction Corporation 4 - JSC, under the "Bridge of Love Program" called for by the Central Transport Department.

Cầu treo Khe Yên hoàn thành đưa vào sử dụng, từ nay người dân bản Khe Yên không còn nỗi lo mỗi khi qua Khe Yên phải đi bằng cầu tạm như trước đây.

Leaders of the Transport Industry, Transport Construction Corporation 4 and local leaders cut the ribbon to inaugurate the Khe Yen bridge.

Project Management Board 4 is the project management unit; the direct construction unit is Construction Joint Stock Company 465.

Khe Yen suspension bridge is 86 m long, designed to be 2 m wide, with 2 pillars, 3 spans, reinforced concrete tower foundation, and high-strength steel structure. The bridge serves the travel needs of 187 households living mainly in Khe Yen village of Mon Son commune.

Khe Yen suspension bridge has been completed and put into use. From now on, Khe Yen villagers no longer have to worry about having to use a temporary bridge when crossing Khe Yen like before.

Tại buổi lễ cắt băng khánh thành cầu, Tổng Công ty Xây dựng công trình giao thông 4 - CTCP trao 20 suất quà cho 20 gia đình có hoàn cảnh nghèo, đặc biệt khó khăn và 10 suất quà cho 10 con em có hoàn cảnh khó khăn đạt thành tích cao trong học tập (mỗi suất quà 500 nghìn đồng).

At the ribbon-cutting ceremony of the bridge, Traffic Construction Corporation 4 - JSC awarded 20 gifts to 20 families in poor and especially difficult circumstances and 10 gifts to 10 students in difficult circumstances with high academic achievements (each gift worth 500,000 VND).

The completion and putting into use of Khe Yen suspension bridge before the flood season will help people in the area travel conveniently and safely, contributing to the socio-economic development in remote and border areas of Con Cuong district.
