(Baonghean.vn) - On the way to transport 30 bricks of drugs to Ho Chi Minh City for sale, Ich and Hoi were stopped and arrested by Thanh Chuong police.
After a period of establishing a special investigation and monitoring project, at around 7:00 a.m. on October 15, in Van Dien commune, Nam Dan district, Thanh Chuong district police in coordination with the provincial police traffic police department requested to stop the subject's vehicle for inspection.

At that time, the driver was Tran Dinh Hoi (34 years old), and Nguyen Ngoc Ich (41 years old) was also in the car. Both lived in Hamlet 3, Hanh Lam Commune, Thanh Chuong. When checking the car, the police seized 30 heroin bars. Both confessed that the drugs had just been purchased from Laos and were being transported to Ho Chi Minh City for sale.
When the car was stopped for inspection, Ich intended to kick the car door open and escape, but more than 20 police officers quickly tightened the siege and captured the suspects and the evidence.
On the morning of October 17, attending the award ceremony, comrade Nguyen Van Que - Chairman of Thanh Chuong District People's Committee acknowledged and commended the officers and soldiers of the district police agency for proactively coordinating with other forces to arrest many drug cases with large quantities in the past time and hoped that the unit would continue to promote the achieved results, do a good job of ensuring security and order, and effectively combat all types of drug-related crimes.
