(Baonghean.vn) - In recent days, dozens of pigs in the border commune of Keng Du (Ky Son) have suddenly died. Inspection by veterinary agencies showed that the number of pigs that died in Keng Du was due to anthrax.

According to the Keng Du commune government (Ky Son), in recent days, 20 pigs in the commune have died of disease. While many other localities in Ky Son district have recorded African swine fever, people are very worried.
Therefore, on May 24, leaders of Ky Son district and veterinary agencies directly went to Keng Du commune to grasp the situation. Through inspection, it was found that the number of pigs that died in the past few days was caused by anthrax, not showing symptoms of African swine fever.

Based on the conclusion of the veterinary agency, local authorities and functional forces conducted zoning, epidemic control, and spraying disinfectants in the entire residential area of the commune.
Currently, the local government of Keng Du commune and Keng Du Border Guard Station are focusing on propagating to the people to stabilize the situation; at the same time, supporting and guiding people on effective methods to prevent and treat swine septicemia./.
