Groundbreaking ceremony for building a house of gratitude for the mother of a martyr in Dien Chau
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of September 21, the Association for Supporting Families of Martyrs in coordination with Dien Chau district started construction of a House of Gratitude for martyr Tran Thi Luyen's mother in Hamlet 1, Dien Thanh commune, Dien Chau district.
Attending the ceremony were representatives of Nghe An Newspaper, Dien Chau District leaders and Golden City Joint Stock Company.
Mother Tran Thi Luyen, born in 1933, has 5 children, of which the eldest son is martyr Cao Van Duat, born in 1954, sacrificed in 1975 in the resistance war against America to save the country. Her family is in difficult circumstances, she is currently living alone in a 25m house.2Built in 1980, the house has deteriorated and is not suitable for daily life, especially during the rainy season.

This is a meaningful and humane work contributing to the implementation of the Party and State's policy on "Repaying gratitude", showing gratitude to relatives and people with revolutionary contributions. This is the 8th house in Dien Chau district that the Provincial Association for Supporting Families of Martyrs has called for support to build.
