Groundbreaking ceremony for a 22 billion VND school in Ky Son

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of January 12, in Na Ngoi commune (Ky Son), the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of Na Ngoi Secondary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities took place with a total value of 22 billion VND.

Attending the groundbreaking ceremony were comrades in the Standing Committee, Standing Committee of the People's Council, People's Committee, representatives of some departments and branches of Cau Giay District (Hanoi City) - the project sponsor. On the side of Ky Son District, there were comrades in the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee and representatives of departments and branches at the district level.

In the 2023-2024 school year, Na Ngoi Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities has 473 students, including 361 boarding students and 421 students from poor households. The school has 15 classrooms, including 6 solidly built classrooms and 6 degraded grade 4 classrooms.

With 20 billion VND sponsored by Cau Giay district and 2 billion VND from counterpart funds of Ky Son district, Na Ngoi Ethnic Boarding Secondary School is expected to be put into use in the 2024-2025 school year. The construction will meet the teaching and learning needs of teachers and students in the border area of ​​Ky Son district.
