Groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the Great Unity House, Humanitarian House for the poor in Quynh Luu

The family of Mr. Tran Van Danh in hamlet 4, Quang Tinh parish, Quynh Tam commune is a particularly poor household. The couple only depends on agriculture, has many children of school age and has to take care of their sick elderly mother.

For many years, Mr. Danh's family has been living in a temporary rented house, not having the conditions to build a house. Sharing the family's situation, the Fatherland Front of Quynh Luu district has supported 50 million VND to start building a Great Unity house for the family. In addition, the Fatherland Front of Quynh Tam commune and local agencies and organizations also supported additional funds and working days to help Mr. Danh's family quickly complete the Great Unity house so that they can have a solid place to live, settle down and escape poverty.

This is also a project to welcome the 8th Congress of Catholic delegates of Quynh Luu district for building and defending the Fatherland, term 2022 - 2027.

On the same day,Quynh Luu District Red Cross in coordination with Dong Yen PagodaQuynh Thuan commune supports funding to build a Red Cross humanitarian house for poor households in especially difficult circumstances in Quynh Tan commune.

Mr. Cao Huu Dung's family in village 1, Quynh Tan commune is a particularly poor household. His wife has a serious illness and has been on dialysis for 5 years now. All the money he earns from his job is used to treat his wife and raise his 2 children. For many years, his family has lived in a seriously degraded house. Their circumstances are so difficult that they do not have money to repair the house. With the encouragement of the Red Cross at all levels and relatives, Mr. Dung decided to borrow money to build a new house. After 4 months of construction, his family's 2-room house with an area of ​​50 square meters has been completed with a total cost of 150 million VND.

At the ceremony, the District Red Cross and Dong Yen Pagoda - Quynh Thuan Commune donated 40 million VND to support the construction of the Red Cross Humanitarian House for Mr. Dung's family. In addition, the Fatherland Front Committee of Quynh Tan Commune also donated 10 million VND to Mr. Dung's family. On this occasion, the Quynh Luu District Education Promotion Association also gave gifts to Mr. Dung's two children, with the hope that they will overcome difficulties and excel in their studies.

Next, the working group of the District Red Cross came to present 20 million VND to support the cost of building a Humanitarian House for the family of Ms. Nguyen Thi Lien in Hong Yen village, Quynh Hong commune, a poor household in the commune with especially difficult circumstances.

The funding support for the construction of Humanitarian Houses for poor households is a project to welcome the 8th Congress of the Red Cross Society of Quynh Luu district, term 2022 - 2027 and is also a project in the launching ceremony of Humanitarian Month 2022 with the theme "Connecting the community - Spreading humanitarian actions".
