Prosecuted young man who stabbed someone seriously injured with hooliganism
(Baonghean.vn) - Although there was no conflict, Quy (residing in Tan Ky district, Nghe An) caused trouble for no reason and then stabbed Truong Cong Duong with a knife, causing the victim to be seriously injured and had to be taken to the hospital for emergency treatment.
On March 2, Tan Ky District Police said that the District Police Investigation Agency had just issued a decision to prosecute the criminal case, prosecuting the accused Tu Duc Quy (born in 1985), residing in Ky Thinh hamlet, Tien Ky commune, Tan Ky district, for the crime of intentionally causing injury.
Previously, at about 5:30 p.m. on February 10, 2020, at Chieng village, Tien Ky commune, Tan Ky district, after drinking alcohol at a friend's house in On village, Tien Ky commune, Tu Duc Quy on his way back to Chieng village, Tien Ky commune stood next to the inter-hamlet road watching people loading wood on the roadside.
A moment later, Mr. Truong Cong Duong (born in 1967) residing in Chieng village also came to watch the wood being loaded. At this time, Quy suddenly kicked Mr. Truong Cong Duong's motorbike 3 times. Seeing that Mr. Duong did not react, Quy continued to use both hands to grab Mr. Duong's motorbike stand, lift the motorbike up and then put it down. Angry at Tu Duc Quy's actions, Mr. Duong could not control himself and slapped Quy on the cheek.

The conflict gradually became tense between the two sides and was stopped by the local people. However, Quy then approached, put one arm around Mr. Duong's shoulder, and with the other hand pulled out a sharp knife (a fruit knife) from his pocket, stabbed Mr. Duong once in the left chest, then got on his motorbike and left. He was taken to the Tan Ky District Medical Center for emergency treatment, then transferred to Nghe An Provincial General Hospital for treatment.
Immediately after receiving the report, Tan Ky District Police coordinated with Tien Ky Commune Police to urgently investigate, verify and clarify the case. At about 10 p.m. the same day, discovering the subject was present in Tien Ky Commune, the Police force issued an order to detain Tu Duc Quy in an emergency for intentionally causing injury. At the police station, Quy bowed his head and admitted all his actions.
Currently, the Investigation Police Agency of Tan Ky District has decided to temporarily detain Tu Duc Quy for further investigation and handling.
