(Baonghean.vn) - On July 31, 2020, the Vinh City Police Department has just prosecuted and detained Bui Ngoc Diep (Vinh City) for the crime of "Fraudulent appropriation of property".

In early 2019, through her biological mother, Ms. Nguyen Thi H (born in 1977), residing in Nghi Phu commune, Vinh city, Bui Ngoc Diep (born in 1998), residing in Nghi Phu commune, Vinh city, learned that Ms. Nguyen Thi T. (born in 1987), residing in block 13, Ha Huy Tap ward, Vinh city, wanted to apply for a job in the education sector.

Due to lack of spending money, Bui Ngoc Diep, at that time a student of the Faculty of Law, Vinh University, lied to his mother that he had advanced his studies and was retained to work at the Faculty of Law, Vinh University, had relationships with teachers at the school and was able to get a job for Ms. Nguyen Thi T. to work on the payroll at the Faculty of Foreign Languages, Vinh University at a cost of 150 million VND.

Believing her daughter, Mrs. H told Ms. T. to prepare money and job application documents. From January 2019 to May 2019, Mrs. Nguyen Thi H received the documents and received 150 million VND from Ms. T. and then transferred it to Bui Ngoc Diep.

After that, Diep promised Ms. T. that after 2 months, Ms. T. would have a decision on her employment at Vinh University, while Diep spent the 150 million VND of T. on personal expenses and paid off all debts. Some time later, Ms. Nguyen Thi T. directly contacted and urged Bui Ngoc Diep to fulfill the commitments as agreed.

Seeing that, Bui Ngoc Diep went online to find a job and ordered the seal of Vinh University, forged documents such as the decision to accept staff, the employment contract with the seal and signature of the principal to give to Ms. Nguyen Thi T., making Ms. T. believe that she had been accepted into the Vinh University payroll.

However, in November 2019, after a long time without receiving any notification from the school to go to work, thinking that she had been scammed, Ms. T. asked Bui Ngoc Diep to return the money. Knowing that her daughter was not able to find a job, Ms. Nguyen Thi H. paid Ms. T. 10 million. After that, Ms. Nguyen Thi T. repeatedly asked to return the remaining amount, but Bui Ngoc Diep was unable to pay, so on July 20, 2019, Ms. Nguyen Thi T. went to the police station to report the incident.

Currently, the case is under further investigation and handling according to legal regulations./.
