Controlling the eucalyptus forest fire in Quynh Luu
(Baonghean.vn) - Discovering a eucalyptus forest on fire, the authorities of Quynh Hoa commune (Quynh Luu) mobilized forces to put out the fire after a short time.
Accordingly, at 5:00 p.m. this afternoon, June 26, a large fire broke out fiercely in the southern area of Cua Gan mountain in village 12, Quynh Hoa commune (Quynh Luu).

Upon discovering the fire, Quynh Hoa commune authorities mobilized dozens of local residents, police forces, and commune militia to participate in firefighting.
Upon receiving the news, Fire Prevention and Fighting Police Department No. 4, forest rangers, and Quynh Luu District Police quickly arrived at the scene and mobilized 1 more fire truck to put out the fire. Due to the hot weather and strong winds, the fire spread quickly to the surrounding area.
After about 1 hour, the fire was controlled and extinguished.

Mr. Tran Van Dung - Chairman of Quynh Hoa Commune People's Committee said that due to early detection, the fire did not cause much damage, it is estimated that the forest burned about 2 - 3 sao. Currently, the locality is directing the police force and the commune militia to mobilize human resources to monitor the forest fire area, not letting the fire flare up again.
The cause of the fire is being investigated by the authorities.
