The Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Industry and Trade have just announced the adjustment of retail gasoline prices, effective from 3:00 p.m. on March 4.

Accordingly, the price of RON 92 gasoline remains unchanged at 13,752 VND/liter; E5 gasoline price at 13,321 VND/liter; Diesel 0.05S: no higher than 9,580 VND/liter; Kerosene: no higher than 8,905 VND/liter; Mazut 180CST 3.5S: no higher than 7,225 VND/kg

The joint ministries also regulate, set aside and spend the Petroleum Price Stabilization Fund for petroleum products.

Use of the Petroleum Price Stabilization Fund for petroleum products as follows:

Mineral gasoline: 370 VND/liter;

E5 gasoline: 363 VND/liter;

Diesel: 983 VND/liter (increased by 444 VND/liter);

Kerosene: 995 VND/liter (increased by 406 VND/liter);

Fuel oil of all kinds: 69 VND/kg (increase by 34 VND/kg).

According to the Joint Ministry, the gasoline price was adjusted based on the average price in the 15 days from February 18 to March 3, which was 42.314 USD/barrel of RON 92 gasoline; 40.325 USD/barrel of 0.05S diesel; 42.615 USD/barrel of kerosene; 154.185 USD/ton of 180CST 3.5S fuel oil (Details in the statistical table of world gasoline product prices in the last 15 days).

Thus, the average price of finished petroleum products in the world in this management period compared to the previous management period (from February 3, 2016 to February 17, 2016) increased by 1.813 USD/barrel for RON 92 gasoline (equivalent to +4.5%); increased by 2.628 USD/barrel for 0.05S diesel oil (equivalent to +7.0%); increased by 2.342 USD/barrel for kerosene (equivalent to +5.8%); increased by 1.196 USD/ton for 180CST 3.5S fuel oil (equivalent to +0.8%)./.
