At the conference, the summary report affirmed that the 2015-2016 school year, the entire education sector of Nghe An has achieved many important results, the quality of education has made many advances in a solid and comprehensive direction. Currently, 100% of preschool schools organize boarding meals for children and organize 2 sessions/day. At the primary level, 95% of students complete the class program. Extracurricular educational activities and life skills education are of interest to schools, the quality of comprehensive development is improved.

Comrade Le Minh Thong commented on the fact that there are more than 1,000 teachers being recruited illegally in localities, leading to a local surplus and shortage.

The results of the key quality continued to be maintained. During the year, more than 2,000 students were recognized as excellent students at the provincial level, 106 students achieved national excellent students, ranking 3rd in the country. Nghe An also successfully organized the National Phu Dong Sports Festival. The work of streaming, career guidance, and vocational training has made remarkable progress with 41.09% of high school students registering for the graduation exam, the rate of middle school students and GDTX students studying both culture and vocational training increased rapidly compared to previous years. The work of building standard schools received attention with a rate of 62.93%.

At the same time, there must be a plan to pay attention to the overload of more than 21,000 preschool students and ensure facilities and conditions to prepare for the opening ceremony and the new school year 2016 - 2017.
