Inspecting administrative reform work in Hoang Mai town
(Baonghean.vn) - On April 25, the Department of Home Affairs' inspection team for administrative reform and document archives had a meeting with Hoang Mai town, one of the 7 pilot units for administrative reform in 2024.

At the meeting, Ms. Nguyen Thi Mai Thuong - Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs highly appreciated the efforts of Hoang Mai town in administrative reform. The Standing Committee of the Town Party Committee, the Town People's Committee and the town's branches and departments considered this a key task. Thanks to that, in 2023, Hoang Mai town continues to be one of the leading units in administrative reform.

At the conference, the working group of the Department of Home Affairs also approved the inspection plan and evaluation criteria. Accordingly, the working group will inspect administrative reform work with 4 focuses, including: Leadership, direction and operation of administrative reform; reform of administrative procedures and implementation of one-stop, one-stop mechanism; building e-government, digital government; performing public duties.
During this inspection, the delegation will combine inspection of document archiving work in communes and wards in Hoang Mai town.

According to comrade Nguyen Huu An - Deputy Secretary of the Town Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Hoang Mai town, the town has identified administrative reform as one of the three breakthroughs in development, thanks to which there have been many positive results and changes. He also expressed his hope that through this inspection, the working group of the Department of Home Affairs will point out the shortcomings and limitations so that the establishments can soon overcome them in the coming time, thereby bringing satisfaction to the people.

On April 25, the working delegation directly inspected administrative reform and document archiving work in Quynh Phuong, Quynh Xuan and Mai Hung wards.

In 2023, the results of the PAR Index of Hoang Mai town ranked 4th/21 districts and towns, up 1 place compared to 2022; the total score achieved was 87.37 points/100 points, of which the appraisal score reached 58.36 points, ranked 10th/21 urban districts, the sociological survey score reached 28.53 points, ranked 2nd/21 urban districts.
