Strengthening and training female cadres at the grassroots level

September 10. Nghe An Provincial Women's Union held a mid-term review conference on the implementation of the Resolution of the 15th Provincial Women's Congress, term 2016 - 2021.

During the past half term, the Women's Union at all levels has made many innovations in its leadership, paying special attention to innovation in content and methods of operation. In particular, it focuses on identifying priority issues, breakthroughs, creativity, and flexibility in implementing annual themes and topics, paying attention to new models, directing activities to the grassroots, and prioritizing specific and difficult units.

As a result, up to now, 14/14 targets set out in the Resolution have been implemented according to the annual roadmap and have all been achieved and exceeded. In particular, targets on advanced models, on shelters of love, on granting scholarships to poor students who overcome difficulties, and on consulting and proposing projects to achieve and exceed targets set out throughout the term.

Speaking at the Conference, Comrade Nguyen Xuan Son highly appreciated the efforts of the Provincial Women's Union at all levels in the past time. The results achieved demonstrate the seriousness, objectivity, responsibility and dedication in the implementation process in all areas. Thereby, it shows that the Resolution of the Women's Union has entered life and contributed significantly to the implementation of the goals and targets of the Provincial Party Congress, doing a good job in hunger eradication and poverty reduction.

In the last half of the term, to act effectively, comrade Nguyen Xuan Son requested the association to carefully review the targets and tasks, focusing on key and specific tasks to effectively implement the set goals.

To do this well, it is necessary to take care of perfecting and training the grassroots team after merging villages and hamlets, and to pay attention to and introduce capable cadres to participate in organizations at all levels and associations.

He also hoped that all levels of the association should increase their focus on the grassroots, especially at specific grassroots levels. At the same time, it is necessary to evaluate, disseminate, honor, and replicate typical models and examples, and promote the role of the association in advising, building policy mechanisms, and bringing policies into life.
