Disciplinary action against 2 former Deputy Heads of the Government Office

The Prime Minister decided to discipline two former Deputy Heads of the Government Office, Mr. Nguyen Huu Vu and Mr. Van Trong Ly.

In Decision 156/QD-TTg, the Prime Minister decided to discipline Mr. Nguyen Huu Vu, former Deputy Head of the Government Office, by reprimanding him for violations and shortcomings in his work, and the Central Inspection Committee has disciplined him in terms of the Party.

Mr. Van Trong Ly and Nguyen Huu Vu committed violations and shortcomings in advising Government leaders to give direction on the TISCO 2 project.

Another former Deputy Head of the Government Office, Mr. Van Trong Ly, was disciplined by the Prime Minister with a warning due to serious violations and shortcomings in his work, and the Central Inspection Committee has imposed Party discipline.

Previously, through inspection, the Central Inspection Committee found that Mr. Ly and Mr. Vu had violations and shortcomings in advising the Government leaders to give direction on the project to expand production phase 2 - Thai Nguyen Iron and Steel Company (TISCO 2 project).

Disciplinary action against Chairman and Vice Chairman of Ha Giang for the 2016-2021 term

In Decision 158/QD-TTg, the Prime Minister decided to discipline Mr. Nguyen Van Son, Chairman of the People's Committee of Ha Giang province for the 2016-2021 term, by reprimand, due to violations and shortcomings related to the 2018 national high school exam, and the Central Inspection Committee has disciplined him in terms of the Party.

Also related to the 2018 national high school exam, in Decision 159/QD-TTg, the Prime Minister decided to discipline Mr. Tran Duc Quy, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ha Giang province for the 2016-2021 term, with a warning.
