The "corrected" biography of Ngo Viet A. |
Previously, Ngo Viet A., a resident of Duyen Ha commune (Thanh Tri district), had just passed the university entrance exam and brought his resume to the commune People's Committee to get a stamp to complete his admission application. The officer who received the people said that because his family had not yet paid for the new rural construction, including road construction fee of 300,000 VND/person, electricity fee for lighting of 130,000 VND/person..., he could not confirm and told them to pay in full and have the village's receipt for the commune to confirm.
Although Viet A explained that his family had not paid, but had not paid yet, the reception officer did not agree and still wrote on his student's personal history that "He and his family have not complied with the Party's policies and guidelines, the State's laws, and local regulations" and then brought it up for the Chairman of the Commune People's Committee to sign and stamp.
Immediately afterwards, Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Nguyen Duc Chung issued a document requesting Thanh Tri District People's Committee and the Department of Justice to clarify this information.
Next, Chairman of Duyen Ha Commune People's Committee Nguyen Dang Huan apologized to Viet A. for his unfortunate shortcomings.
Mr. Huan also asked the office staff to reconfirm Viet A's personal profile with the content "he and his family always comply with the laws of the State and local regulations".
