Officers and soldiers of the Military and Police Department of Nghia Dan district have donated more than 100 million VND in cash and directly participated in hundreds of working days to support people in Dong Tam A and Dong Tam B hamlets of Nghia An commune to build 100 meters of rural roads and some welfare projects.

With that joint effort, we contribute to the religious community in the two above mentioned hamlets in Nghia An commune to complete the criteria for building new rural areas.

Comrade Ngo Xuan Huy - Secretary of Dong Tam A hamlet Party Cell excitedly shared: “The cadres, party members and people in the area are very happy to have completed the criteria for building a new rural hamlet. In particular, during that process, there was active support from cadres and soldiers of the armed forces and all levels of the industry. That has great significance in encouraging and motivating people to continue to develop the economy and build a new life…”.

According to statistics from the Party Committee and government of Nghia An commune, 21 agencies and units at Nghia Dan district level have participated in supporting and joining hands with the locality.new rural constructionwith a total amount of over 370 million VND and hundreds of working days. That support, together with cadres, party members and people of 8 hamlets of the commune (6 hamlets have ethnic minorities; 3 hamlets have religious followers, of which all are Catholic hamlets), has built welfare works, purchased equipment, upgraded, repaired, and made the cultural houses spacious and up to standard.

The above mentioned activities of "joining hands to build new rural areas" have actively contributed to helping Nghia An commune - a disadvantaged commune with 54.4% ethnic minorities and 23.79% Catholics - complete the new rural criteria.

The above results are the practical actions of cadres and party members of the District Party Committee's committees, the District People's Committee's offices and mass organizations of Nghia Dan district in implementing Directive 05-CT/TW of the Politburo on promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle.
